HOW TO ENROLL IN PROGRAMS AT EAST AREA ADULT SCHOOL


Orientation and Information

  1. Students attending on-campus classes will attend orientation on Wednesdays at 1:45 p.m. for day classes and Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. for evening classes.

  2. Parents must attend orientation with students who are under 18 years of age or are dependent students.

Placement Test

  1. Take the placement test called TABE (see schedule) at East Area Adult School ($15.00 cash fee.)

  2. Bring your picture ID and Social Security Card.

Student Intake

  1. Attend student intake session
    • Every Monday and Tuesday between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. or 1:00 and 2:30 p.m.
    • Every Tuesday evening between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m.
  2. Pay tuition fee based on residency
    • $30.00 per semester
    • Bring cash or money order made payable to East Area Adult School.
    • Bring no bill larger than a $20.00.
    • REFUND POLICY:  Refund must be requested before the second day the class is scheduled to meet.
  3. Complete intake/application paperwork
